I bring cultural spaces to life through immersive 3D documentation

My work bridges the physical and digital worlds, preserving heritage sites and cultural spaces for future generations using cutting-edge Gaussian splatting and photogrammetry.

Based in the UK, I combine hands-on experience building community arts venues with advanced 3D capture technology to create interactive experiences that make heritage accessible to everyone.

From Building Spaces to Documenting Them

The Hub Lichfield community arts venue interior showing transformed church space with bar, theatre, and cultural gathering areas

The Hub, Lichfield (2022-2023)

Over a year as Front of House and Bar Operations Manager, I helped transform a beautifully renovated church in the heart of Lichfield into The Hub – a thriving arts venue with a bar, theatre, gig space, and coffee shop in its new mezzanine hall.

This experience taught me what makes a cultural space truly vibrant – it's not just the building, but the stories, the community, and the moments that happen within it.

It was the most fulfilling work I'd ever done – creating a space where art, music, and community could flourish.

The Pivot to Digital Heritage

After The Hub, I explored infrastructure photogrammetry work, but found it technically interesting yet emotionally hollow. I realised I needed the human element – the connection to culture, community, and meaningful spaces.

That's when I discovered Gaussian splatting and its potential for cultural heritage documentation. Suddenly, I could combine my technical skills with my passion for meaningful spaces.

Why This Work Matters

Heritage sites face constant threats – decay, limited access, funding constraints. Digital preservation isn't just archival; it's about democratizing access.

I bring the same energy I had at The Hub – transforming spaces into experiences that connect people to culture – but now with cutting-edge 3D technology that can reach anyone, anywhere.

How I Work

Cultural Sensitivity First

Every heritage site has a story, a community, and cultural significance. I approach each project with respect for context, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the digital documentation honors the space's meaning and purpose.

Technical Excellence with Human Impact

I stay at the cutting edge of 3D capture technology – Gaussian splatting, photogrammetry, spatial computing – but never lose sight of why this work matters: connecting people to places and preserving cultural heritage for generations to come.

Collaborative & Hands-On

My operations background means I understand workflows, deadlines, and the importance of clear communication. I work collaboratively with teams – from curators to developers – and I'm comfortable getting hands-on with every aspect of a project.

What I'm Looking For

I'm actively seeking an employed role at a creative agency producing 3D and immersive content for museums, cultural organisations, brands, and experiential projects.

London-based with remote work capability and flexible arrangements.
